School Field Trips

During field trips, the children get the opportunity to pet and feed different types of animals and go on a hayride to the pumpkin patch. While on the hayride, students will see horses and cattle grazing in the fields and ducks/geese on the ponds. From a safe distance they can see beehives where our honeybees live and learn how they pollinate the crops and provide us with honey. The beekeeper will give a honeybee talk and show your group all of his equipment and how to start and care for the hive! Students also have the opportunity to visit with our calves, lambs, and milk the cow. On our spring field trips in May, we see all the newborn babies! Children are taught about planting and they learn to shear a sheep in place of picking a pumpkin.

These field trips are all guided and last approximately 2 hours. We ask for a 25 person minimum for your group, no exceptions. Field trip price $15 per child, and teachers/aides are free. Chaperones are only $8 with no pumpkin included. If a trip is cancelled by school one week prior, a $50 fee is required. Weather does not apply to this. Looking forward to seeing you soon! Birthday/Private Parties

Our farm is available to rent for your child's birthday party! Birthdays at the farm allow hands on, personal experience with barnyard animals where children and adults can feed and play with animals. Begin your party at our large heated and air conditioned Gathering Room which has a full kitchen, bathrooms and plenty of room for party activities. Our team of farmers will be your personal guide, picking up your group from the Gathering Room and taking you on a walk to the barnyard. While in the barn, the options are plentiful, including feeding the goats, sheering the sheep, holding bunnies and chickens. Your family and friends can enjoy a meal or cake, open presents, and use the large space to organize your own games if desired. Baby goat snuggles are the best!
